COTTMAN AVENUE (RTE. 73) CONSTRUCTION DETOURS

JUNE 21 - SEPTEMBER 9, 2010

Follow orange and black signs for detour that read:

"Detour Tulip St. & Keystone St. Deliveries" 

NOTE: Deliveries will be restricted to between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM due to road closures. 

DIRECTIONS 

From I-95 Northbound (Exit 30, Cottman Ave. - Rhawn St.):  Come off and under I-95 - At red light (State Rd) go RIGHT - proceed (0.6 mi) to 2nd light at Rhawn St. 

*** Go LEFT onto Rhawn St. under bridge (14' clearance) up 0.3 mi to first light - Torresdale Ave.  Go LEFT onto Torresdale Ave.  Follow Torresdale Ave. 0.8 mi. straight through 6 lights at the 7th light Princeton Ave. turn LEFT onto Princeton Ave. Proceed 0.1 mi through 3rd light at Tulip St. and make the next LEFT (no light) on to Keystone St.  NOTE: TRUCK DRIVERS WILL NEED TO MAKE LEFT TURN FROM RIGHT-HAND LANE TO MAKE ANGLE FOR TRAILER.   Once on Keystone St. follow 0.3 mi through 2 stop signs and cross over Cottman Avenue up to LEFT through gated lot making a RIGHT turn on the other side.  Then up to the dead-end "T" at Donovan Heat Treating Co.  Must turn around and back into Donovan Heat Treating Co. 

From I-95 Southbound (Exit 30, Cottman Ave. - Rhawn St.):  Make a RIGHT at red light at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Bleigh St.  Go up one block to State Rd. Make a RIGHT at the light onto State Rd.  Proceed 0.5 mi to 1st light at Rhawn St.  Turn LEFT onto Rhawn St. and continue to follow the directions from  the *** above. 

From Route 1 - Roosevelt Boulevard: NOTE: Must be in OUTER 3 lanes either north or southbound in order to turn onto Cottman Ave. (Rte. 73). 

Heading Southbound on Rte. 1- Turn LEFT at the light at the Route 1 and Cottman Ave. (I-73) intersection.  Heading Northbound on Rte. 1 - Turn RIGHT at the Route 1 and Cottman Ave. (I-73) intersection. 

Follow Cottman Ave. for 2 mi. through numerous lights until you reach Torresdale Ave.  Turn RIGHT onto Torresdale Ave. Go 3 blocks to 2nd light at Princeton Ave. Go LEFT onto Princeton Ave. Proceed 0.1 mi through 3rd light at Tulip St. and make the next LEFT (no light) on to Keystone St.  NOTE: TRUCK DRIVERS WILL NEED TO MAKE LEFT TURN FROM RIGHT-HAND LANE TO MAKE ANGLE FOR TRAILER.   Once on Keystone St. follow 0.3 mi through 2 stop signs and cross over Cottman Avenue up to LEFT through gated lot making a RIGHT turn on the other side.  Then up to the dead-end "T" at Donovan Heat Treating Co.  Must turn around and back into Donovan Heat Treating Co.
